Not anywhere close to real time, or even daily fluctuation values. Limited to 2 decimal points.
Widget currency pairs sometimes doesn’t save their positions in list. Sometimes can’t change input language in currency search input field (not sure if this bag of widget or apple widget pane).
The app is awful. The rate of USD is changing very fast in Russia. By the end of the day the real rate was 72 rur to 1 usd, but coinverter widget still says it is 55. I’ve lost money because of that!!!!! Don’t buy this, if you don’t want to lose your money! I wish I could get a refund
This is quite useful that when you enter figures and can see how many this in other currencies. Often lacked it in other converters. Simple and intuitive interface. Need only to add the ability to sorting currencies by dragging. Updating rates process is fantastically quick. So I will recommend Coinverter for all who frequently need to have actual courses.
Well designed
This app and extension work exactly as advertised. The level of polish in the design and interactions is higher than I expected.
If you click the (i) button on the widget it allows you to re-organize the order of the widget entries. Problem is, once you click done, the items seem to go back to their origional order. Oddly enough if you keep doing this every once and a while the order of an item will end up in a different place, but I can’t seem to get them in the order I want them… One thing that would be nice is if precious metals would be replaced by their name (ie. Gold instead of XAU).
The app itself is good but the widget needs an improvement - the ability to do calculations. There also seems to be a bug in the app - when changing the Main currency in the Preferences, the change is not reflected in the widget. For example, I live in Italy but I want USD instead of EUR. Even if I have regional settings as US. I am hopeful that the developers will make the necessary changes and update the app as soon as possible.

App crashes after 2 minutes. Low quality fonts and icon. No thousands separator.
Great App if you plan to use it rarely, like several times a day. Simple. Absolutely useful and worth the money. But if you are looking for the app that would always come in handy to make quik and frequent calculations using widget part of the app (as I hoped to do) - this might not be the best solution. It just shows current rates that eqal 1, 10, 100 etc. But you can’t do calculations right within the widget. Moreover if you try you can wrong-click something that is bihind the notification centre and, therefore, hidden because the mouse click works through the notification centre. My beta version from the site stopped working seconds after launching so I was nearly forced to buy it. And I was dissapointed that there’s no such a function as I would expected: like a calc app but with currencies. But still I use it a lot, even with no useful widget form because it’s a great looking and very easy-to-use app. Hope the team will make all the improvements asap.
This is the best currency converter
I’ve tried lots of currency converter apps, and this is the best one. It’s available for my phone, laptop and desktop computer. It’s super simple to set up and use. I can list and see several currencies all at the same time, and when I enter the amount of one currency, it converts all currencies in real time. It also updates exchange rates automatically.
Helpful Little App <3
I use this on my desktop and iphone. It's really handy when you're traveling. I keep it in my dock. Thank you for making something that isn't cluttered. There's always room for improvement but this is definitely a keeper for me.
This app stopped working weeks ago.
This was a great app while it worked, but now it just doesn't update any currencies at all. Is anyone paying any attention to your product?
Still very buggy!!!
Adding new currency to the main dialog does not get exchange rate right away, one would have to exit the app and relaunch to get the info. It's been so many years, and same problem exists on multiple versions of macOS. Not sure if developer is working on solving the problem.................. Decided to delete the app and find something else to use instead...!
Widget doesn't get updated
Widget on macOS 12.3.1 doesn't get updated, always show "0" values. Also no option to pin the app in menu bar on desktop.
Widget Doesn't Work in Big Sur
App works, widget doesn't work on Big Sur, can't find the preferences to enable it in the side bar.
Terribly unhelpful widget
Just displays amounts in various currencies and doesn't let me quickly input things in the notification center. What a waste of time installing.
Widget useless
I am looking for a currency widget to replace the DAshboard currency widget that will soon be disabled in Mac OS. This one isn't it as it won't do conversions -- it only shows the value in dollars of 1 unit in the other currency.
Exactly what I needed!
Simple, has all major currencies. It would be nice to add more crypto currencies. I was looking for an app like this for a long time.

it does not really convert
It only shows you an exchange rate but I cannot plug in my own figures to convert.
It needs more significant digits to be useful for Crypto.
Please add the ability to create custom currencies with approx 8 decimal places.
Simple good app
Looks good and simple to use. One thing is missing - it is not possible to set up how many numbers to show after the decimal point. Is it possible to add?
Not updated for Sierra
Current version of notification widget is not updated for Sierras notification center color scheme, so it is dark in the middle of all light resources and sticks out like a sore thumb - sadly. El Capitan had dark notification center, Sierra has switched to light.
Great free app!
This is a beautifully designed application with Today view widget support. Several suggestions for improvements: 1. Add an option to toggle trend number on widget/app. I would like to see how the rate has been changed from yesterday or certain amount of time before. 2. The widget might look werid after setting entries. User need to remove and re-add the widget to today view to get it back working. Again, great app and its free! Try this.
Fast and clear
So far, no ads (yay!) and a very clean interface for checking rates. If I need serious conversions, I will use a URL, but this is a good reference. VERY happy to see BTC and XAU on the list!
